The #1 lie new leaders believe.  

I’ll do everything I was doing…faster!  

Admit it…we’ve all believed it at some point.  We keep doing everything we were doing in our previous role in addition to everything we need to do in our new role.  We just try to do it all faster.  

And, admit it … we’ve all realized this is a nice-to-believe lie.    

You can’t do everything you WERE doing on top of everything you ARE doing.  You are human.  You have limitations.   

That’s why we need a team. And that’s why we need to develop the skill of delegation.
